Resolution Results:

Get 2010 started off right with 5 weeks of Pilates! This intensive program is specifically designed to get you looking better and feeling stronger in just 5 short weeks with twice weekly private Pilates sessions. Each session will include either equipment or mat work that will leave you feeling stronger, taller and ready to take on 2010! With a rate of just $50 per session this special is too amazing to pass up (that’s a 20% discount over our regular rates)!

Total: $500 for 10 sessions / 5 weeks

Pilates Pals:

Double the fun and get stronger at the same time! Just like the “Resolution Results” package, you and a friend will receive private instruction on both the equipment, as well as the mats twice a week for five weeks. You’ll feel stronger, taller and leaner after just 10 sessions. This program is great for the budget at just $25 a session per person.

Total: $250 per person for 10 sessions / 5 weeks

Mamalates

Postpartum pilates based movement with mom and babe $85 for 6 week series one make up class per series registration required. Come enjoy conscious movement with your babe while re-connecting with yourself in this unique, uplifting mommy and baby Pilates class. Focusing on mindful movement to help reclaim posture and build stamina, we will use a variety of props including resistance bands and balls for a challenging, efficient workout. Move your body in a whole new way and yes, LOSE THE POOCH! Awaken and strengthen muscles you didn’t even know you had while connecting with other Mamas. Learn correct biomechanics for holding& lifting your baby, receive handouts for home use, This class is appropriate after six weeks recovery from childbirth and exercises are easily modified to meet individual needs and all fitness levels. Please check with your healthcare provider before registering for this class. Modifications provided for Diastasi recti and Cesarean recovery. Pre- crawling babes welcome!

FemFusion

FemFusion is a 60 minute suitable for all fitness levels, FemFusion is inspired by styles of dance and movement that celebrate and empower women. The common element throughout is strengthening the core with a special focus on the pelvic floor. Instructor Brianne Grogan uses her expertise and experience as a women’s health physical therapist to guide you through movements that safely and effectively strengthen the “female core” while simultaneously giving you a great aerobic workout. The winter series runs 1/11/2010 through 3/15/2010. Classes are held every Monday at 6:30 PM. Class size is limited to 10 participants; please email Brianne (Brianne@pelvichealthplus.com) to reserve your spot.

Individual class: $15
Package of 4 classes: $40 ($10/class, to be used within a 2 month period)


Private Session

The best way to learn and experience Pilates is through a private session, where for 55 minutes an instructor is devoted to you and your Pilates experience. Each lesson is tailored to your individual needs and goals with time spent on the Pilates equipment and occasionally on the mat. Lessons are scheduled Monday through Saturday by appointment. Duet Session

A duet session is two students with one teacher. You will utilize the Pilates equipment, mat and props in your one hour training session. This is a great solution for two students with similar skill sets who would like to work out together and is less expensive than a private lesson. We will pair you up with another student or you can choose you own partner. All Duet Sessions are by appointment only and scheduled Monday through Saturday.

Mat Class*

Our Pilates mat class is appropriate for beginners (after an initial evaluation by our teachers) and yet challenging enough for the seasoned Pilates student. Each class requires one to perform various exercises with a limited number of repetitions while making a smooth transition from one move into the next. The carefully performed movements stretch and strengthen, working deeper muscles to produce a leaner look and improved posture. The routine is technically not aerobic, but with practice, you can flow right from one exercise to the next to bring up the heart rate. Our teachers offer guidance and modification during the 55 minute class and with only 8 students personal attention is always given. Classes are taught in both series and drop-in basis. Foam Roller Class*

Our foam roller class is a 55 minute class using a full round foam roller on the mat.  The class will consist of the same goals as any Pilates class at Moxie, mainly strength, alignment, and precise movement to full develop the uniform body, all using the added tool of a foam roller.  The class is limited to 4 participants at a time.
*If you have never attended a mat class at Moving Moxie before, you must first complete our Focus private session. This half-hour class is intended to introduce basic Pilates strength, form and alignment to all of our students and to ensure that all of your health goals and concerns are addressed.

Focus Private Session

Knowledge is key to success in your body, so an overview of correct bio-mechanics and anatomy is utilized to increase the client's understanding of Pilates. We believe that a private session is necessary for everyone to be successful in our classes.
You may purchase your Focus private session and your mat package at the same time, but please be sure to set up your private session before your first mat class begins.
